I'm so excited that my computer let me upload this photo! So that will be my first thankful "thought" for this post. I've been contemplating what would go on to my Thursday Thanks Tank list since yesterday afternoon. (You've got a lot of time to think when you are building a deck.) Since its Mother's Day on Sunday I started thinking I would do a special thanks tank just for the Mom's in my life. As I was pondering this though there were so many other things that I was feeling thankful for that I ended up deciding I would do a normal Thursday Thanks Tank but keep a watch out for a "Special Edition Mom's Tank" coming on Sunday!
My verse for this week is Proverbs 31:28, "Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her"
I am thankful for:
- new towels - fluffy, soft and green
- being able to walk out my laundry room door onto a finished deck
- Pastor George's sermons
- babysitters that you trust and that your kids love
- the money to pay for said babysitters
- going thru hard times - to help you appreciate all you are blessed with
- warm days filled with sunshine
- the smell outside after a rain shower
- packages in the mail
- planned outings with my sisters and mom
- quiet evenings at home with my husband and girls
- Mario Kart for the Wii
- the end of MOPs
- a clean home
- a home of my own
- being a bunco babe
- my nieces and nephews and the joy they bring

Babysitters-- that sounds wonderful! Does this mean that you guys went on a date??
How do you get that "clean home"?
Great list! Looking forward to the Sunday post
First of all - what in the world are you doing up at 1:30 in the morning!!! Yikes, girlfriend - you are going to be tired today!
Secondly, I truly can't remember the last time my husband and I went on an actual date. I'm sure it couldn't possibly have been one year ago for his birthday when we went out together. But it seems like it and I can't remember any date after that. ???? No our babysitter is for this evening - I have scrapbooking at church and Keith has inventory at work!
Thirdly, a clean home is all a perspective. If the dishes are done and there are only a couple loads of laundry left to do and the couches are clear of anything that doesn't belong and I can see my countertops and I've swept in the last 24 hours - my house is clean. I ignore the dust and boxes stacked around that need to be unpacked and the fact that there is a whole days worth of dirt, crumbs and ??? covering my floor!
Great thanks tank.
"Warm days with sunshine" when did he come over?
We should go on a date. that might be a good thing.
I am also thankful for Mario Cart. It's nice to have another game that we can play with the girls.
i love your thanks tanks... so great!!!!
so.... can we plan a party????
i'm really getting excited to come and hang out!
You guys should try out Sonic and Mario at the Olympics, too. It's a fun one and good for all ages. Gotta love the Wii!! You have edited pics on it too, haven't you? Now that's cool!! Know what you mean about the date time. It's hard to plan time for yourself and your hubby AND have $$ for it. Tonight will be our first time out since my b-day I think. Time flies...
