It's gonna be a hot one in the ol' town - today!

So the weatherman says we are going to break record highs today! It's supposed to be up into the 90's and possibly even 100's. It's only May 16th! It's crazy weather that we are having this spring. Didn't we just have snow a couple weeks ago?
Anyway, you can really tell that it's gonna be a warm one. After dropping off the girls at school, I decided to drive up to the "other" coffee stand that I occasionally visit (it's close by and they have a drive thru!). It's 8:45 in the morning and there are 10 cars waiting in the line for the car wash next door! How crazy is that. Also there is about 6 cars in line at the coffee stand! Not very normal - almost a bit eerie! Us girls are going out tonight for another round of celebrating Mother's Day. It will be really nice to sit in a nice air conditioned movie theater. But I'm a little nervous about what we might find has we head into town. This weather has a tendency to make people a little crazy!
Enjoy the warm weather and we'll see you back here once it cools down!

I am the first to comment on this particular post so I should get props for that. I don't actually know what they means but as Ashley Bartlett Bacon would say - what the hay!

If it is going to be SO steamy hot today, why is it so freakin' freezing in my house at 10:46. Oh hey I am also thankful that I got to sleep in until 9:45 this morning, INSANE, I know.

I have a few returns to make today. I would like to start hanging pictures in my home. Off to B3 to mention it.

what you consider crazy weather is a "normal" spring in the rockies! only, we can have it all in one day. snow to 70 in less than 24 hours a few times is enough to make a girl lose her marbles!

Have a great night - what movie are you seeing?

WOW! that would be crazy, lisa!
we are going out for chinese food for dinner, to the movies to see What Happens in Vegas and then out to Thai food for dessert - black rice pudding w/ coconut ice cream - my favorite. I would choose this over chocolate - that's how much I love it!!!!!
