They kept it pretty light and funny up until the end of the movie. I would let the Homegirls watch this HP movie (with us) but I would want to watch each of the other HP movies ahead of them before making a decision.
So, for now, I say yes to Pot.)
Bakatari out.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2983361463320829123.post-37381571846999479162010-05-18T08:59:56.965-07:002010-05-18T08:59:56.965-07:00Thanks for the review, Kim. I read the first book ...Thanks for the review, Kim. I read the first book and thought it was very well written, a page turner. But, I was very creeped out as I got towards the end and discovered that the evil thing/being was inhabiting someone else. It was like he was possessed or something and it just was so descriptive and vivid. I read the first chapter of Book 2 and again was too creeped out to read anymore of it. I think the idea of it is exciting, but there are other exciting books and movies. Natalie is reading The Hobbit right now and is looking forward to reading The Lord of the Rings. I know there much controversy about all of this, but I figure the books will still be around when they are much older and can still be enjoyed then if they choose to read them. They won't be scarred by not following popular culture for a little while. I don't judge anyone for reading it or allowing their kids to read it. I just say that it's okay for us to wait.
SharonAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2983361463320829123.post-54395667831864463342010-05-18T07:53:47.827-07:002010-05-18T07:53:47.827-07:00It's good to read your thoughts on this. I don't think Jonathan will get too caught up in the wizardry but the controversy makes me wary.Jane Annehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10080114435686228615noreply@blogger.com
